''Could orbs contain a light source?''

ORBS

DIFFERENT  ORBS

In his excellent research work The Orb Project, Michael Ledwith makes some fascinating orbservations about the variety of orbs-

Orbs are not composed of some ethereal substance like the ectoplasm that was an essential feature of the spiritualistic seances popular in the 19th and 20th centuries. If a process of fluorescence aided by the attraction of free electrons through ionisation is what enables the orbs to be photographed then the orbs must be electro magnetic in nature.

If they produce a radiation that is at least partly infrared, then they must belong to a realm that is at least at the frequency/wavelength of infrared or beyond. This indicates that the orbs are native to the dimensions that lie in frequency levels above our material realm. Normally then, they will be manifested in this dimension only when a process occurs that causes them to give off a level of radiation a camera could perceive, especially one that is sensitive to infrared.

With these conclusions in mind, let’s turn our attention to the different types of orbs that have been observed. With each week new varieties and new phenomena appear. The orbs associated with other levels of reality beyond this one seem to engage in different functions and also seem to show different energetic levels, which probably accounts for the colours they exhibit. Beside colour and size variations there are many other forms including:

VARIETIES  OF  ORBS

Brown, red, white, blue and pink orbs. Orbs that appear translucent may be on the verge of passing out of the detectable infrared range. Those of higher frequencies are smaller in size but greater in sense of power.

Plasmoid fields have different colours. Occasionally orbs appear as plasma like clouds. Plasma is the fourth state of matter after solids, liquids and gases. The transition from orb to plasmoid is  rarely orbserved.

Veils: occasionally objects that resemble graceful drapes of fine cloth appear in attractive formations. It’s interesting that this is the same description which is applied to the existence of our human body wide web of energy.

Energy spheres-these are larger than the average orb, don’t have the characteristic dented circular form and their edges are fluffy rather than clearly defined.

Red giants sometimes have two intense points of red light near their circumference. It has been calculated that their diameter is between 5 and 10 feet.

Rocket orb-these are extremely rare and infrequently orbserved.

Skeletals-these are orbs that appear to have holes or segments missing. One theory is that they have not fully manifested into a frequency level that can be captured by the camera.

Vortices and torsion fields-these take us into the realms of spirituality. The orbs appear to assume the shape and rotation of a torsion vortex such as that reported by those who have undergone a near death experience.

Space lights-multiple orbs producing an image similar to the distant space bodies captured by the Hubble telescope.

Reactive orbs-occasionally an orb will change its shape to copy the shape of other orbs in close proximity.

Tricolour orbs-these exhibit different shades of colour around their rims which indicate the direction in which they are travelling. Generally a blue shade indicates the direction it is going and a brownish or red shade indicates the direction from which it has come.

Orb faces-again this takes the science of orbservation to the spiritual world. There are many photographs of orbs exhibiting human faces quite often those of children. It would certainly appear that orbs are attracted to the young or wherever the environment is light-hearted and energetic.

Weather orbs-humidity, low temperatures and moisture generate increased orbservations. It is easy to distinguish genuine orb images from fog particles, raindrops and dust. Remember, every orb image is as unique as human fingerprints.

In her book, Enlightenment  Through Orbs, Diana Cooper has a more spiritual perspective on orbs referring to angels, spirits, ghosts and even unicorns. It is an interesting interpretation of the orb phenomenon which will find favour with those who believe in spiritual guidance and the existence of guardian angels.

GENUINE  ORBS

After very little practice orbservers are able to distinguish between genuine orbs and deliberate or unintentional orb-like imagery. There are 3 principal occurrences which give ammunition to sceptics, cynics and orb deniers:

1. Random objects such as human hair or camera equipment that are in front of the lens.

2. Atmospheric conditions such as smoke, human breath on a cold day, mist, fog or tiny flying insects.

3. Camera malfunction such as lens flare, blur or problems with the CCD.

Orbservations involving multiple cameras at the same time are an excellent way of confirming that orbs are genuine.
